Hello, my name is Joshua Doyle and I want to talk to you today about political parties.
I made the decision to run under the Better Edmonton banner because I believe that electing a group of likeminded candidates who are clear on their values and vision for the city is what we need to move council from inaction to action fro you and your family.
I have been transparent from the beginning about the party and where I stand.
My opponent, Michael Janz says he is against the party system but that’s not true, what he is against is being honest and open with you.
Michael Janz has campaigned for NDP candidates across this city. Even his signs are orange.
He is supported by unions and even third party advertisers, which he says he is against, but I guess not so much when they give him money. I am supported by you, the people of this ward, I am not taking big money and my campaign is funded by small donations.
I want to be your city councillor to represent this ward. Not the unions, not third party advertisers and not any political party. I want to be YOUR voice. Nobody else’s.
On October 20th a vote for me is a vote for transparency, advocacy and most importantly a vote to ensure that you are heard at the council table.
