I’m Joshua Doyle, and I want to be your next city councillor!
I’m here to bring my experience as a technical engineer in private industry to city council. In my profession ideas are judged on merit, not their ideology. I want to bring a non-partisan problem solving approach to city council. Efficiency and co-operation are key.
Core city services, bike lanes, zoning bylaws, transit, homelessness. These are a few of the important issues that require intense scrutiny before committing to a plan forward. City council, as it is now, is dysfunctional. They are unaligned in their approach to problem solving, and it is apparent in their sloppy execution. The result of this being higher taxes on your hard- earned money. If we continue down this path it will only get worse. Change is needed. Resources are limited, so we must navigate these problems as efficiently as possible.
Allow me to be your megaphone. I will amplify your voice and your concerns. Together we can realize what we want this beautiful city to be. Through assertive leadership, piercing inquisition, and bi-lateral teamwork I can bring what is desperately needed to this city council.
